The Rosary

The Rosary is a prayer. We have beads to use while we are praying. First you have to say the sign of the cross, then the Creed, then one Our Father and 10 Hail Mary’s followed by one Glory be.

There is a crucifix at the end of the Rosary beads. This reminds us when Jesus died. The Rosary is not a necklace to wear, it is something that you pray with.

Squash

After morning tea there were going to be a awesome sport that we were going to play, it is called Squash. We went to the hall and sat down. The names of the people that are show us how to play squash  were Michael and Phil. They showed us the rules. There were 6 courts, one of them were a practice place. I was so excited that I was going to play Squash. Men have to wear tank tops and shorts and t-shirts. Woman have to wear a skirt and a t-shirt and a sports dress. Harrow School in England were the first people to play squash in 1830.

It looked like fun and when I had a turn it was fun. Even when I lost it was, I had a good game. We played king of the court, it was fun, I had to be at the third court. I stayed there for two games, but then I moved up to court two. After about six minutes I made it to the first court. It was me Patrick, Misiotei and Asipeli. The balls went so fast when it came past my face.

They were all hard, the winner was Patrick, he was hard to beat. Next we sat down and Phil said “who was the best man at playing squash?’’ someone said “Ramy Ashour’’, ‘‘who is the best woman to play squash?’’ asked Phil, someone else said ‘‘Nicol David”. I had so much fun for my first time playing squash.
