KIDS FOR KIDS
On friday night we had the Kids for Kids concert. I went into the backstage door and went to find Miss G and sat down and waited to go on the stage. There were 15 schools backstage. We got onto the stage and waited for Nathan King and Jackie Clarke. We sang the whole first half and we went backstage and sat down and had a little snack, we had chocolate frogs, chocolate cookies and moro’s. We were playing monkey barrel, it was fun. After we had our break we went back on the stage and Nathan and Jackie were wearing farming clothes because we were singing gumboots and we sang welcome home that was the second to last song we sang. After that we had to sing She’s A Mod, all of the schools were going crazy when singing that song. After that song we finished and went to the backstage and waited for our parents. After my dad picked me up from the backstage I went to the carpark and we went into the car, it was cold. When I was at home, I felt happy after I went to the kids for kids concert.

Kids For Kids
On Friday night we went to Kids for Kids to sing. There were 250 children. The people who were singing with us were Jackie Clark and Nathan King. We had to sing in front of 800 people in the crowded audience, also our family. That was a lot of people, we were at the back of the stage. All the schools went out and sat down and we sang all of the songs in the first half then we went back of the backstage and had a little snack and then we went back on the stage and sang the soloists songs. They were 'Whether with you', 'Sensitive to a smile', and 'Maybe tomorrow'. I was proud of me.

Pope Pius Feast Day
On a rainy morning we were going to church and going to celebrate the feast of Pope Pius X. He was the one that made children have their Holy Communion. We went into the church then we had the bread and wine. We went into the hall and we had cake, it was a banana cake, it looked yummy. The juniors had to get the cake first then the seniors had to get it last. I liked the cake, it was one of the best cakes. When the lunch bell rang we had to go to the hall and show our talents. Room 1 went first then 2, 4, 5, then us, we sang Haere mai and Something in the Water. After us was room 6 and then room 7.
I had a great day.
